Synopsis
Janus Gaming, the popular streaming channel plays video games for their online community. The team, made up of eight members: Mitch, the group’s founder; Nemo, an older Black gamer who has enough horror stories to fill books; Zelda, the happy-go-lucky one with a big smile; Dice, a queer Black non-binary member with their guard up; hot married couple Taylor and Gwen; and to round it out there’s Jon and Davey, the act-gay-for-the-fans guys. It’s quite the group with a little something for everyone. In this stream, they’re hosting super fan Lucy as she won a recent fan contest. They gather in the group’s studio to play the horror game “House of Souls”.

Once they start playing, they quickly realize there’s something strange and deadly about this game. They discover that if you die in the game, you do in fact die in real life. The group must keep playing no matter how much blood is spilled.

Combining the visual story telling of Screenlife with custom made scenes using the Unreal 3D Gaming engine, LIVESCREAMERS is, a tense yet entertaining piece of video game horror that emulates our ever-changing relationship with technology, video games, and the digital world.

Press
“Livescreamers is a virtual haunted house flick, but it’s also a vicious social commentary that isn’t afraid to chastise the public’s behavior — proper Screenlife horror for the GamerGate era.” – Bloody Disgusting

“Livescreamers uses a familiar screen-life horror premise to shed light on the darker side of the gaming world.” – The Blogging Banshee
