Synopsis
In this Korean horror thriller starring Choi Min-sik (I saw the Devil, Oldboy), we follow the story of a group of paranormal experts as they continuously uncover secrets that went beyond their imagination. Korean Shaman Hwa-rim and her partner Bong-gil are hired by a wealthy Korean American family to figure out the cause of the mysterious illness of the family’s newborn. Haw-rim identifies the problem as being caused by the haunting of a vengeful ancestor’s ghost. In order to exorcize this cause, Hwa-rim gathers help from her colleagues, a grave feng shui master and his mortician friend. In their attempt to appease this vengeful spirit, by relocating his body to a better grave site, this team uncovers the dark history of the wealthy family, and in the process unleashing a greater evil.
