Synopsis

Shot in a vérité style, TROLLHUNTER is the story of a group of Norwegian film students that set out to capture real-life trolls on camera after learning their existence has been covered up for years by a government conspiracy. John's Opinion

You will believe that trolls are real after witnessing Øvredal's TROLLHUNTER. Take one part BLAIR WITCH and combine it with JURASSIC PARK and you get TROLLHUNTER. This mocukumentary truly feels as if it is trying to amaze the audience as much as it is trying to scare them at times and as such it achieves a bit of magic. It would have been so easy to strictly go the horror route but instead we get a fun fantasy that is both funny and scary and just also happens to be thoroughly entertaining.
