They’ve been the best of buddies for more than a decade, but now they’re changing-- getting married, getting fired, going bald, going crazy. During a male-bonding weekend they will discover a spectral corridor through the woods-- an impossible hallway where none should be. It will lead these five men into fear, into betrayal and into the biggest change of them all: by weekend’s finish... they’ll be dead.
"THE CORRIDOR is one of the most impressive independent films of this year’s Fantasia, a masterful science-fiction/man-vs.-man thriller that also happens to one of the most emotionally resonant Canadian horror films I’ve seen in a long time." - Fangoria
" An ingenious spin on “cabin in the woods” horror narratives, THE CORRIDOR plays like a character-driven TWILIGHT ZONE episode by way of Larry Fessenden, a science-fiction nightmare that shrewdly explores the horrors of group dynamics and machismo taken to distorted extremes. Call it an hallucinatory THE BIG CHILL with mass murder. Kelly’s film is a marvel that frequently surprises with twists and turns that will amaze you, all the while keeping its stellar ensemble cast believable in the face of some highly unconventional situations. Smart, tight and shocking, THE CORRIDOR is one hell of a breakout." - Mitch Davis (Fantasia)
"...a delightfully unnerving mind-fuck that satisfyingly blends character-rooted fraternal jockeying with elements of psychological horror. A gripping work from start to finish..." - Shockya
THE CORRIDOR is as much a cautionary tale of friendship falling apart due to life changing (or not changing in some cases) as it is a horror movie about madness. It seamlessly combines the horror genre with science fiction and places into it a nice bit of drama between friends who have grown into new lives. THE CORRIDOR definitely starts out with a stunning bang, slows back down to let you get in touch with each of the characters and then you get to watch them be ripped apart by their discovery of a mysterious corridor in the middle of the woods. THE CORRIDOR will definitely leave you with a few questions to ponder at the end as you try to figure out just what happened but it will definitely draw you in and you will enjoy your time after the movie thinking it through.
